You don't have to remove the entire steering column and dashboard? Wow!

Yup.

It's a pain in the butt... but it can be done...

The biggest pain is to make sure you put them back
in correctly.  I did it twice before i got it right...

if ya have a digital camera use it ... alot ;)


other tidbits...

on my 93 100, same body as your 95 a6,  I had hard
time with
the interior panels along the tranny tunnel..


because my car is a beater and I was time crunched I
simply pulled
the 2 side panels off... they are not meant to do
that..  I used
black sheetrock screws to re-attach it when I was
done... unless
you really look it's not that noticeable...
