Thanks Gary,

This morning it did not start again, I hit the gas tank underneath where the
pump would be and it started. My wife decided not to drive it to work
anyway since she would not be able to reach the spot to hit it if it did not
start. Tonight it started fine without the whack. I looked at the top of
the tank where the plug connects to the fuel pump harness and it was quite
dirty. I cleaned that up and we took the car for a drive. So far so good,
it has started every time we tried. The pump is nice and quite when
operating. I'm going to watch it for a bit to see what happens. the car
has 200k kms. She loves the car, we'll try to keep it for a bit longer.

Lino
