Only one oops and looking for suggestions. I ripped the left lower rear control arm rubber
grease fitting. See picture http://www.nostrom.net/upload/Audi/oops.jpg any suggestions on getting
this to last a while? I packed the crap outta it with fresh grease. Hoping it'll last until the
control arms fails at there regularly scheduled replacement interval..

The picture doesn't work...so I'm guessing on this.

One thing I've done - might work. See if you can get the rubber ***clean*** and rub it down with
denatured alcohol, then repair it with silicone sealer-use extra and smooth it over, past the edges
of the tear. Remember, all you need is to keep the grease in, not make it pretty. If you can span
the rip and get the silicone sealer to hold, you're good. But you'll need to let it sit for 24 hours
after you apply the goo.
