[V6-12v] More trunk lid light ...

I hope a quick question for the list:

It's my turn to clean up the port (driver) side
wiring to the trunk lid, since the light light
works only intermittently when the wire bundle
on the port side flexes.

I had the trim pulled off this afternoon to have
a quick look how to expose the the entire wire
bundle (from trunk chassis connectors to lid harness),
and am momentarily stymied as to how the larger connector
on the trunk chassis end is released
(so that it can be moved to [or out of] the trunk chassis
hole through which the wire bundle is routed).
This is the pink connector that resides in a "collar"
that is attached to the trunk chassis wall.

Any hints for how this larger connector is released
from the (a) collar & (b) chassis wiring harness ?
