Stabilant-22 comes as a thick gel which you dilute to working  
strength with alcohol.  For your application, I'd use it straight.   
It can be bought from Post Horn recording. (www.posthorn.com)  It is  
spendy, but it is a better contact enhancer than any other that I've  
tried.
