Well I think I have about finished .. no really this time .

 

I took the band clamps off, put all kinds of goop around the exhaust (
actually I just used some gasket maker blck crap I had around ) . put the
clamps back on to 40 n/m , not 40 pounds like last time. Left it for 3 days
to cure. Took it out last night and it was MUCH quieter. Now of course there
is no place for water to drip out so the next hink will be my exhaust
rusting out but I will wory about that next year . At least I can drive
around without noise now. 

 

That gasket stuff sure does smell though , I hope it goes away ..
