[V6-12v] stuck throttle

With all the freezing weather here in the northeast I have been having quite a time with my 96 A6Q in regards 
to the throttle sticking when it is freezing out.  It only happens when the engine is cold.  Something (ice) is 
causing it to stick and I have all I can do to stand on the brakes to come to a stop and shut off the engine.

If the engine is warm, when it gets stuck, I just turn it off and sit for 5 or so minutes and whatever caused
the obstruction, goes away (melts) and the engine runs fine after that.  

Any ideas?
