Kent -
Your coolant leak may not be totally your head gasket.
Check your heater control valve beneath your
windshield wiper linkage. I had a leak last summer
and it took me forever to find it. Intermittent leak
which ran down the firewall and would only
occasionally leave a puddle. Worth checking out. I
have 169K miles on my 1993 100CSQ Avant.
I replaced my valley pan gasket last fall and now my
oil leak is worse than ever. I think it is probably
the head gaskets, as I did nor torque the head bolts
after replacing the valley pan gasket. It's cold
here, too.
I live in Maine, USA. I have a garage but no heat.
It's supposed to moderate this weekend so maybe I'll
be able to check it out.
