[V6-12v] Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders

Not sure of the exact placement of the master clutch and slave clutch 
cylinders on a 90 model, but take a look at the clutch pedal and you should 
see the rod for the master clutch cylinder right below the clutch pedal pivot 
point. The clutch master cylinder will be mounted to the firewall internally. 
On the other side of the firewall you should see two lines coming out of the 
master cylinder, one line will go up to the brake reservoir, while the other 
line (usually the lower and a hard line) will go to the clutch slave 
cylinder. Typically on the Audis the clutch slave cylinder is mounted on the 
top of the transmission housing.

I've never done one of these jobs myself, just observed and handed over 
wrenches and odd tools while friends have worked on their cars and yes they 
have had to bleed the system on their cars and the slave cylinder was always 
a bear to get at.
