[V6-12v] Power steering hoses between reservoir and "cooler"...

There is a little (kind of silly) power steering cooler that has two rubber
hoses running from the reservoir to it.  Is there anything special about
those lines?  The dealer price on them is really high ($97 & $62), and we're
talking about 4 feet of 1/2 hose here.  The clamps are just crimp clamps.
I'm curious if anyone here has replaced those, and if so, what did you use?
