[V6-12v] Rough Running Engine

The CEL is not coming on.  I will check and see if there are any codes.  This year has OBD1 with the blinking light.  It seems to have normal power but it is rough at idle and also rough at higher revs.

Not me, but the owner of my old '94 100S Avant thinks I'm still responsible for one. :)

First thing to do is pull the codes:

If there are no codes, then we need more:

Is it rough at idle but smooths out at speed?
Does it have normal power, but just runs rough?

Pull the codes first.
