Sorry for the typo. The quoted price was $450. The unit retails for $156.36 and I bought it for $59.35 from AutoHausAz. The dealer figured about 2 hour for labour. Around here the labour charge is about $125.00, plus tax for the part equals about $450.

At $90/hour dealer labor, that was probably 1/2 hour in labor. But the
ace mechanic doing the work, who has done it a dozen times before, might
take 15 minutes. The dealer still charges you for the 1/2 hour, and the
mechanic can bill another job in the remaining 15 minutes. Ka-Ching!
