Hi Austin,

The aircon in these cars recharge differently to most car air cons.
I'm a little sketchy on the details, so give me some leaway here.
I think most cars, you recharge them from the low side.
Where as on these cars i think they have a high side reserviour (i think that 
is what they are called).
Anyway, it means you need to recharge it differently to normal. Whan I had mine 
rechanrged, it caused the guy a few problems until he worked that out. (He 
thought the car was full as well)

I would say, if you have the compressor fully engaged (ie on LO) then the temp 
in the out flow centre vent should be around 6degC

A little confused with which lines you can feel getting cold. Forgive me if 
you already know, but to make sure we're all on the same page, the follwoing 
steps is how an air con works.

A gas is compressed into a liquid, making it hot.
The hot liquid is them cooled (via a radiator to air temp)
This ambient temp liquid is then allowed to expand, reducing the pressure 
casuing the liquid to boild an turn back into a  gas. This makes it cold.
The cold gas is then used to cool what every you want, and then fed back into 
the compressor.

So, thecold parts should be the same pressure as the input to the compressor, 
and the hot parts should be the direct output of the compressor.


The part where you put the gas in, is just behund the firewall up the back of 
the engine bay. I thinki it is about two feet in from the RHS of the car.
