[V8] Brake Pad Warning Light

I just put new front pads on my 91' due to the "Brake Pad light" glowing for a month.  After completing the job the light still remains on.  I did have a small problem with the wire coming out of the sensor but it seemed to go back without a problem.

Does this warning light need to be reset by disconnecting the battery or did I screw something else up?  They are the stock UFO's with the removeable sensor wire.

Also, If anyone is looking for stock or aftermarket parts below is information on a very knowlegeable and helpful shop.
