They are known as triple square (12pts). Do not try to use an allen or torx
wrench to remove them, you will strip the head.

I am in the process of removing both front drive axles. Does anyone know
where I can get the tool to remove the bolts from the axle flange and maybe
what size it is? Looks like maybe a 10m. Also. If you drain the trans oil
pan how much fluid does it take?
