[V8] Mini Lamps in Key

What sources have listers used to replace the mini lamps in the Audi keys
from the early 1990's?  I have two keys that both need lamps, and I was not
sure if the dealer was the way to go, or if there is another source
available?  I have a local lighting store that says that they have
literally hundreds of these style lamps, and they require a four digit
product code to make sure they are locating the correct lamp.  Wondering if
anyone else has run into this as well, and has located a part number?  Or,
I am just being silly about this, and should call the dealer and see if it
is an item that can be had for modest money?   Thanks to all in advance.
