Nope.
You rotate the roller mounted on the eccentric to set the tension damper
length. (bottom left of the two on the left side)
Tighten the cam bolts, remove the cam plates, rotate the crank through two
revolutions, check that cams are still lined up correctly and tension damper
length is within spec. (Tips: have the cam bolts just barely loose enough that
the cam gears can rotate on the cams, set the damper length to the long side of
its spec. When you tighten the cam bolts the damper will get a few mm's
shorter)
After everything else is done you set the damper stop plate by sticking a
nail/drillbit/ etc, through the hole of the damper pivot to engage a notch in
the lock plate, when you have the notch engaged tighten the bolt on the plate.
There will be a gap between the plate and the pivot bar. (tip: Check that you
can engage the stop plate notch BEFORE doing anything else. If you cant you
have the plate on backwards and the damper must be removed to flip it)
