Here's how I fixed it: I cleaned out all the air intake stuff, prayed for no rain, and then ran her into a sidewalk, caused $1k in damage and made her sit in a shop for about 3 months to think about what she had done.  Worked so far.
Things that I have done, constructively, since then: changed out throttle position sensor and ran some intake cleaner through the tank.  
You don't live in Oklahoma, do you?  That might be your problem.
