[V8] Clutch "Over Center" Spring

... are there any of you 5-speed owners who have had to replace the "over
center" spring at the top of the clutch pedal assembly?  Where did you get a
replacement?  The spring on #344 broke a couple months ago ... and it is
currently on order with Carlsen as a high priority requirement.  The last
update I got was that the part was due in around 12/15 so I called today ...
not there and no ETA!  I suspect that I have no alternative other than to
wait ...
