Noticed a noise coming from the rear while driving at bout 30mph and higher.
Tried to isolate the where the noise was coming from and to me it sounded
like it was coming from the left wheel. My wife insisted that the noise was
coming from behind her passenger wheels, then she said that it was coming
from underneath the car. Drove the car up to 45mph and placed it in neutral,
noise was still there. Noise disappeared once it got below 30mph. My
Quattro V8 have approx 124,000 miles on it.

So in order to keep the peace in the family I've decided to replace both
rear wheel bearings. I'm also thinking that if one bearing is starting to
go the other might also be on its last leg. My question is, will I have to
remove the hubs and press out the bearing or can I remove the bearings by
just removing the snap rings??
