[V8] Rear Defrost

Glad to see that the forum is back up and running..............I had just joined when it went down!!!

I need to know which wires/connectors feed the rear window defroster.

The reason for this is that the V8 Quattro that I took possession of was broken into (by smashing the rear window)............literally 9 hours after I became the owner!!! Nice, huh? It was quickly replaced with a perfectly good one from an Audi 5000 but the rear defrost was not reconnected. I see that there is one connector with two prongs on the passenger's side, and two (single) separate connectors on the driver's side. I was told that the driver's side connectors were for the defrost and the passenger side two-pronged connector for the antenna (the 5000 window doesn't have an antenna). I was going to connect the driver's side connectors but when I pulled off the little panel to the side above the parcel shelf, I discovered a little black box that seems to feed the two connectors, AND which appears to have an antenna-type coax cable running into it as well............never having seen this before, I'm led to believe that it's the amp for the rear antenna.........which I can't use......

Could someone have a look at their car and tell me which wires/connectors at the back feed the rear defrost.

Much appreciated........
