[V8] Suspension

Shawn,
My thoughts:
If you're not dealing with snow (which you really shouldn't be), I really
like the Bilstein Sports all around with Eibach springs ($800+). If you
still want all the wheel travel, then leave the stock springs in place and
install Boge Turbo Gas ($400+). Stiffens up the ride without being too
harsh. I do not (personally) like the Bilsteins with stock springs -- too
harsh and not properly matched IMO. No experience with Konis.
I haven't decided whether to move the suspension from my '91 200q20v to the
v8 yet or not (has Sachs springs and Bilstein Sports). Loved it except in
deep snow.
Strut tower braces??? When's the last time you looked at your strut towers?
You won't find a beefier brace than stock.
And don't forget to check all of your suspension bushings -- otherwise when
you put the proper suspension together the inadequate parts will really make
themselves apparent. Pay particular attention to the front inner control
arm bushings. Also, replace the two front sway bar mounts up front at the
very least -- I'd replace all sway bar bushings while your at it.
BTW, didn't your father lower/stiffen up his suspension?

Hey guys,
What kind of options do we have as far as stiffening up the suspension goes?
Sway bars, strut tower braces, things of that nature. I wanted to look into
the best ways to stiffen things up because I would like to have more
responsive steering and tighter car all around.
