Scott,
Are you sure that CI is higher than your age? -- I wish mine was. C'mon --
(you know the answer) You must have noticed when you replaced the rear
speaker(s) that the connector has four wires going to it: Power,Ground, and
the two low level speaker leads. The fact that both weak speakers are on
the right side (while possibly a coincidence), would have me suspecting the
source - head unit. Try swapping that one out and see what happens. I'm
sure you could hook up a voltmeter to see if your getting power to the amp
by just disconnecting the speaker plug, turning on the radio and measuring
the voltage.
