[V8] 225/50 series tires on a 15" OEM rim?

Gunter - I run 225/60's on the stock rim - If I remember right that gives
the same diameter as the 215/65 that are stock.

 

Certainly find a wider selection of tires at that size.  I've been running
that for about 3 years.  I remember thinking that the car ran considerably
better after the change but that may have been because the PO had Les
Schwabb 'H' rated tires on there before.
