[V8] drive-in woes

No, it's not what you might think...  My FM reception hasn't been as good as the factory radio since I had my new headunit and system installed.  I was wondering, does the V8 have more than one lead for the antenna, or is something supposed to be power boosted?  I can pick up FM stations, but not nearly as far out as I used to.  I remember on one clear day that I picked up a station over 100 miles away!  I know that if there are two leads, I'll have to figure out how to connect them.  If not, should I just put a signal booster on the antenna and be done with it?
