[V8] Blower Motor replacement

That's $225 including the parts? That's $125 or so labor. First-timer
working slowly can replace the blower motor in half a day if you have some
mechanical aptitude and tooling. You'll find postings in the archives from
guys who say they can do it in half an hour.
The blower motor is enclosed in the heater core box that's in the middle of
the HVAC well under that black cover that extends from the base of the
windshield to the top of the firewall.
Replacing the blower motor requires disconnecting some of the air plumbing
in the cabin, finagling some with parts of the heater core box and then a
significant amount of effort to disengage the seal between the box and the
sheetmetal. I wouldn't pay that amount for the work, but I'm old, retired,
have no social life (so my time is mine to do with as I will) and probably
less than a third of the income of most of the folks on the list.
