[V8] black soot out rear pipes

I've used GM Top Engine Cleaner on mine. Uplugged a vacuum line at
the throttle body, one of those that runs to the carbon canister, the
thicker one, then had a curved piece of hose and a funnel and just
poured the cleaner in while working the throttle to keep it from
stalling. Then you're supposed to dump in a bunch to stall the
engine, but I was too delicate with it. So I just shut the thing off
with the key. Still did the trick though, billowing smoke out the
tailpipe when I restarted it later.
Will try Seafoam next, available at Napa, about the same price. I
believe it's the same stuff.
