[V8] Trip Computer Display

Very odd. I can't imagine that 'miles to empty' uses different sensors
/ wiring than the other trip computer settings... I am willing to wager
one (possibly 2) dead window regulators that it is the Instrument
Cluster electrical connections problem that Dave suggested. I have had
this issue with the speedometer going dead several times now, and the
contact enhancer always brings it back to life.
BTW, Congrats on hitting the century mark! I turned 150k 6 months ago
and have only put 3k on my daily driver since. (I love living 3 miles
from work!) Pretty soon, I will have the lowest mileage V8 out there
;-)
Cheers,
- Jeremy

That happens to mine every once in a while too. Turning off the car and
turning it back on again makes it work though. I think it's the "miles
to
empty" display. It only works correctly on the same day I fill up the
tank
and don't turn the car off. There must be something else going wrong
there,
right? Any ideas?

I just had two Power Steering hoses replaced. Coincientally,
one (just one) of the six LCD display options on the trip
computer no longer appears -- just blank. I think it's the
top middle position of the display. All other five readout
options on the trip computer work fine. (As you cycle
through the options by pressing the button on the right
stalk, the five options display fine, but the one in question
is blank).
Is there something the repair tech may have done that would
result in this?
Thanks,
Brad Hartman
