[V8] idle, poor running, help?

... did the code go away with the replacement MAF?  Were there any other
codes?  

An intermittent high idle might be caused by a throttle body that does
not always return to the full stop ... and if the idle switch never
closes it might cause the ECU to do weird things ... I don't know that
for sure ... does the car sound like the exhaust is flowing well?  Some
times power loss is caused by plugged catalytic converters.  

It sounds as though you may not be that far from the folks at
AudiConnection ... you might want to get it there to be gone over by
someone who knows the model.
