[V8] Bose rear amps catch fire?

It was a problem with certain Bose amps that were installed in any
car. They were installed primarily in V8's from 1990 -1994 and 1991
200q20v sedans (right?). The recall campaign only recognizes the
1991's officially IIRC.

The receipts you have are probably just for the head unit as those
were replaced frequently over the years for various reasons. I
believe you are safe to assume that you have the original Bose amps.

I don't think I've ever seen the Bose amp part number written either.
The archives do contain information regarding places to have your
current amps repaired/updated and how to do it yourself, if so
inclined.
