[V8] Bose rear amps catch fire?

The recall never applied to the front speakers, only the rears, and only on
cars made over a certain time period. If I remember correctly, your
original concern was the paperwork indicating the PO had had radio service
twice and you wondered what that involved. If you pop out the radio (two
loops of heavy wire hanger wire cut off square inserted into the four small
holes on the front of the radio), there should be stickers on the radio
indicating it is a replacement.
