[V8] front diff( EDL or just plain open?0

I believe there is no Quattro system in any Audi for sale to the
public that has any treatment of the front diff.

Audi didn't develop EDL until later in the '90's.  That's just
progress.  It didn't happen early enough to be applied to the t44
V8q's.

"true Quattro" is not an industry reference.  Quattro is Audi's
proprietary awd system.  It's as true as can be in any of its
iterations as produced by Audi.  As such, EDL was not part of it for
the t44 V8's.

well if thats tue.....then its just plain dumb on audis part. If the
technology wasnt there for EDL up front, then they shoulve just made
it
lockable vie button or knob. otherwise, what good is it in the snow
with one
open and the rears being torque sensing? certanly not worthy of being
called
a  true quattro in my opinion.Allan
