[V8] battery drain issue

No, it goes right next to the battery. Does your car still have the phone in
it? The controler is in the trunk on that side. Also, you can start pulling
fuses one at a time with an amp-meter hooked in series with the battery and
cable. Then, whichever one causes the meter to zero is the one with the
drain.

The fuel system gets its pressure from the pump. The tank doesn't have to be
under pressure. Otherwise, the car wouldn't run right after a fill up.

It won't cause a drain on the electrical system, but it would definately
cause poor power and gas milage.
