Yup, sure is splic-a-ronied... I've been afraid to wash it down at the
self-serve car wash - don't want it to decide not to fire up again..
And yes, I think my splice job was rushed and I used some cheap solder
unions that didn't work very well.. I'll try redoing it with just a
straight plastic connector and shrink wrap..
