[V8] Vag-com rental...?

Does anyone know of or have a vag-com that I can rent/borrow...?  I have
someone interested in buying my car (local) and would like to fix that
'bogging, stalling' problem for them..  Also, to figure out the perpetual code
that has been around forever..  2341 or 2342...  I'm planning to take her into
the Audi dealership soon for a "checkup", but thought I'd try here first..

I'm not feeling adept enough to try the vag-com freeware solution offered by
"me me"..
