[V8] Performance Tire Ramblings

I believe the difference in this case can be attributed to the difference between a V8 and a 200. The automatic transaxle in the V8 behaves differently that the center torsen in a 200 as does the rear torsen in the V8 when compared to open rear diff in a 200.
My v8 5spd and my 200q behave very differently in the non-dry. When it really matters, I take the V8. It is much more sure-footed.

Yep (me too). I bought a set for my '91 200q and ran them last
summer--including a track event at WG in July. An excellent value. As
to cobram's evaluation of these tires as "great" on New England's
recent snow and ice--well maybe he's referring to the New England
region of _Brazil_. I'd never be so foolhar... uhm ... daring (yeh
that's it, "daring") as to use these high performance tires for a
significant amount of driving during a northeast US winter like the
one we're now having.
