[V8] 1993 V8 runs again....

Here is the weekly...or is it, "weakly"...update on the continuing saga of
my 1993 V8 Quattro.
The heads have been removed and sent to the machine shop for examination.
Our strong suspicion is that one of the high pressure oil galleries is
leaking past it's end plug.
But this afternoon, the machinist said he wasn't so sure that this was the
culprit.
There is one "uneven" place on the head material itself that could be a
weakness in the casting. But we are not sure.
I'll know more from the mechanic who is going to consult with the machine
shop owner this afternoon. Tomorrow there might be a solution.

P.S. I am thinking fondly about the last Mercedes diesel that I owned.....
