Well it's not just a matter of "non-dry".  You're saying (it seems) 
that you think summer performance tires are a reasonable choice to 
use on a V8 in deep snow and ice conditions? The bottom line (for me) 
is: summer-type rubber, 225 width and shallow tread. I'll grant that 
the "V8 behaves differently" rationale has some validity, but I can't 
imagine it's enough  to make _that_ tire a reasonable choice for New 
England winter driving (esp. this winter).
