[V8] (Oil) Can of worms - open with care

hhhhhmmmmm...


The bike had probably 10 year old oil in it.... hadn't been run in that long...
perhaps that old oil was not of a high detergent variety....

yah, I did syn in the V8 for a while, but at $75.- just for oil, I went back to
dino...  like you said a V8 oil temp does not get very high, unless you got the A/C
cooking on a 100 degree day cruising at 100plus for long periods of time....
not that Cobram and I have ever done that :)
