[V8] (Oil) Can of worms - open with care

My experience was borderline tearful when I switched to synthetic. The
car had always been filled with dino0juice as AFA the previous owner
could remember. It didn't leak a drop when I bought it, well except
for the Crankcase to Driver head breather hose that disentegrated on
the drive home from the purchase!!!! Anyways, I thought I would be a
good owner and treat the beast to some high $$$ synthetic oil, I knew
it would appreciate it...needless to say about 500 miles after the oil
change the RMS started leaking, then the dist. seals started weeping
etc. The car continues to throw up oil all over the X-pipe. Doesn't
leak while sitting still just while driving, and those hot humid summer
days with the AC turned on seem like they are going to kill this car.
Just my experience......I wish I would have never made the switch.
