No problem Scott.  Thanks again for letting me cannibalize your v8 temporarily so I could get mine back on the road.

I think that was a decent price for that car.  A well kept, one-owner car like that is more of a known quantity.  And a wealthy owner who did dealer only...  well, I'd have been more comfortable.  I think I could see 3 newer v8 powered Audis in the background of the various pix on the auction.  Nice.

I think we have to accept that as a fair price for _that_ car.  It was a public auction and that's what it went for.

Thanks for up-fitting my injector.  That was unexpected, thank you.  I had to remove the lower Air Box in order to get the rear injector clamp to click right.  (Besides the thought of dropping the thing down the back of the engine just made me cringe for fear that I'd spend the next hour trying to locate the wayward clip).  I had it all back together and running in an hour.
 
Was that a fair pricwe for 206K miles?

In my Autoweek Feb 2 - Magazine there is a Lago Blue V8 w/ 206K miles and the guy wants $5800. Is this reasonable for that high of milage on the clock?
