What was the source of your misfire, I have been chasing one as well.

Subject: [V8] Coolant reservoirs
I decided to drop my new reservoir into the 92 this morning after
finding and fixing an intermittent missfire. For those with brown, aging
reservoirs consider replacing them pretty soon. They are brittle and can
fail with little notice. I had epoxied a crack on the top of this one
already, but when I started to remove it the 'large hole' connection on
the bottom broke right off with little or no effort. This is the second
one that has failed on me - and at the same place. They will usually
start leaking to the tune of a refill a week - but investigate and
you'll find it comes apart in pieces in your hands. Yes, you can epoxy
it back together but its brittle - it will turn right around and fail on
you again. BTDT X 2...
PN 441-121-403, price from Clair $71.25. Price from Audiconnection about
15 bucks cheaper.
