[V8] AutoTrader V8 5-Speed w/ 56K Miles

Something that I just thought of (kind of depressing, actually)...

I paid $6500 a year and a half ago form my 1990 w/ 130k.  Dumped $1k
into it right off the bat.  Another $4k when the tranny died and a few
hundred here and a few hundred there...

This guy wants $12k for this car.  A '91 5spd with 59k miles.  I am into
mine for close to the same money and have 150k miles on it.  Which would
I rather have for the same out of my pocket?

Another thought I had for a perspective buyer is TIMING BELT.

I wonder if it still has UFOs...

True, but we don't salt our roads in Portland, so rust here is pretty
much a non-concern.  We get snow every 4 years or so, and even then it
is only a few inches.

A couple of years ago he could have gotten it. Pretty hard these days - 
a northern car is still a northern car with 13 winters even IF the low 
miles are correct...
