[V8] The long and the short of it...

Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? As long as it's not a Chris
Bangle thing... :-)

Cabrio doors are longer (as well as coupe doors) in proportion to their
4 door siblings, but unfortunately the B series doors are way different
than the type 44.

Hypothetically speaking, if someone was to do this project, they would
have to stretch the V8 doors. They would also need to get Lang rear
quarter panels (cha-ching!) or use the metal from the rear doors to
fill-in / complete the areas around the rear wheel arches.

Starting with a Lang to make a Kurz might actually be easier in the long
run. So I guess the question now is... Anyone out there with gobs of
disposable income AND a hookup in Germany not only to find a Lang but
also get it exported to the States?

Maybe I should stop watching Monster Garage and American Hot Rod and
cancel my order for that welding torch... :-)
