Listers,
More than a few listers have asked what the skinny
is on the parts for the brakes here it is,
RS2 caliper brackets- Got from a friend who imports
stuff from Germany, I can't tell how much I paid for
them cause like I mentioned I'm a personal friend of
his so he gave me his price,
but if listers are interested I might be able to get
some machined if a good price can be gotten. Probley
quantity will play a part in the cost. Also I wouldn't
want to piss anyone off by knocking off someones
buisness,
but I didn't sighn any paper to the contrary.
993TT "Big Red" calipers from a Porsche- cost was
$299 per caliper gotten from Cresent Porsche in N.O.
They are 4 piston & new.
A8 rotors- from a 2000-2003 have to be 323x30, I got
mine at the Audiworld web site they have a marketplace
there. I got Zimmerman slotted & cad coated I paied
$150 with the shipping.
Special brake lines to wed the Porsche caliper to the
Audi brake line union from ECS- cost $75
Brake pads I went with Hawk- got from E-bay for like
$75.
Be careful which pads you get I heard to stay away
from Mintex Red box
And thats about it I also got some race brake fluid
also gotten from ECS.
Thanks
Ron
