Ok... so we finally got a couple of nice days in a row and I got my pads
swapped around, recharged the battery and fired up the V8... It, as usual, fired
immediately and rolled along at 1100rpm or so warming up. I was rather ticked
to see that the pad warning lights didn't go off... I guess I have to pull the
wheels and recheck the splices... after I bleed everything again.
But... I tapped the throttle and it swung up to redline and stuck! Pulling
back on the pedal made no difference so I shut it down. Fiddled with the pedal
a bit and started it again - right up to redline again.
HELP!?
It's been sitting for a couple of months waiting to get the roters and pads
swapped. My suspicion is mechanical not electrical. Is there a common
failure?
Thankfully this was in the driveway, not on some city street!
