I guess I'm bubble bursting today.  This was just discussed recently -- 
check the archives. To summarize,
there are probably bent valves, which means the heads have to
come off. If you are lucky, it's only a valve job on two heads;
worst case is some new pistons, too. Either way, you're
talking real money.  As for a used engine, the '92 uses the
4.2L engine, which are not as plentiful at the 3.6L engines.
