I've seen a lot of V8's and there are only a few I'd contemplate paying 9k
for that needed head work, and all those cars are modified in such a way that I
wouldn't bat an eye at the repair list or the salvage title.
Timing belts are a fact of ownership that V8 owners have to deal with at one
time or another and really shouldnt be factored into the purchase price.....
if you own the car long enough you're gonna have to change it so it may as
well be up front so you have the piece of mind of knowing exactly when it was
done and it was done right.
