[V8] Auto Trans Leaking the Red Stuff: Update

 I have a good story. 
Before Xmas the Beast was leaking auto trans fluid.
I authorized my trusted local mechanic to remove, rebuild and replace the guts with ZF original rebuild kit. 
(Thanks for the link pointing me to  ZF wholesalers, Jeremy).  
But during diagnosis and trans removal, the shop found a fitting and hose up on a hidden side (top) of the transmission that was broken and leaking. 
Fixed it. 
Reinstalled transmission. 
NO leaks and it shifts great.  Ran it up to 6k with no hesitation, no surging, just torque.
I am back in love again too. 
Yes, several hundred dollars labor, but no @$%&* $3000 rebuild yet.
