[V8] airbag light

I'm a little confused when you say the airbag light now comes on when you 
start the car. This sounds as though it did not come on before. It should come on 
when the car is started and then go out after a short period (10 seconds) 
after it has done some form of system check.
    If as Steve mentioned the airbag recall has not been done and you want to 
try replacing the energy reserve or voltage transformer under the back seat I 
have a spare set you can have.
